- Resolve escalated SCADA/network issues requiring deeper analysis (server, protocol, config-level).
- Configure and maintain SCADA servers, HMI, RTUs/PLCs, and communication gateways across plants.
- Manage OT network infrastructure (VLANs, firewalls, switches, routers) using protocols like Modbus, DNP3, IEC 104/61850.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring communication failures/data loss and implement fixes.
- Handle SCADA database/historian configuration and data integration issues.
- Plan patch management, firmware upgrades, and OT cybersecurity controls (IEC 62443/NERC-CIP) with minimal downtime.
- Coordinate with OEMs for hardware/system upgrades; mentor L1 engineers.
- Prepare SOPs, network diagrams, and RCA reports; support DR drills.
Educational Qualifications and Work Experience:
- Robust knowledge of SCADA architecture, industrial protocols (Modbus/DNP3/IEC 104/61850), and OT network design.
- Hands-on experience with server/OS administration (Windows Server/Linux basics), VLANs, firewalls.
- Working knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443/NERC-CIP).
- Experience with SCADA platforms (e.g., ABB, Schneider, Siemens, GE, or similar) preferred.
- Ability to lead RCA and technical documentation independently.
