Position: Store Manager

Experience: 5+ Years in Grocery, FMCG, Supermarket, Retail Operations

Reporting To: Cluster Manager / Regional Manager

- Key ResponsibilitiesStore OperationsManage end-to-end store operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Drive store sales, productivity, and profitability targets.
- Ensure excellent store standards, hygiene, housekeeping, and visual merchandising.
- Monitor opening and closing procedures, cash management, and shrinkage control.
- Sales & Customer ExperienceAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Increase customer retention through solid in-store engagement and loyalty initiatives.
- Monitor key retail KPIs such as Sales Growth, ATV, Conversion, Footfall, and Basket Size.
- Inventory & Stock ManagementEnsure optimum stock availability across categories.




- Monitor replenishment, stock rotation, FIFO, and inventory accuracy.
- Minimize stock loss, damages, expiries, and shrinkage.
- Coordinate with warehouse and category teams for timely stock movement.
- Team ManagementLead, motivate, and develop store staff to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct regular team briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Manage manpower planning, roster management, attendance, and productivity.
- Maintain high employee engagement and discipline standards.
- Compliance & Process AdherenceEnsure adherence to SOPs, food safety norms, and company policies.
- Maintain compliance with audit requirements and statutory regulations.
- Monitor store security and safety measures.
- Required QualificationsGraduate in any discipline; MBA/Retail Management preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in grocery retail, supermarkets, FMCG retail, or modern trade.
- Proven experience in managing store operations and large teams.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, sales planning, and customer service.
- Hands-on experience with retail ERP/POS systems.
