EXPORT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

- International Market Development
- Identify and onboard new international buyers and target markets.
- Negotiate pricing, Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF), payment terms, and commercial contracts.
- Attend global trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to build brand visibility.
- Maintain long-term relationships with international distributors, agents, and key accounts.
- Export Operations & Logistics
- Coordinate with production, inventory, and warehouse teams to schedule timely shipments.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to manage container loading and transport.
- Ensure products, packaging, and labeling comply with destination country standards.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Oversee export paperwork, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and letters of credit.




- Ensure strict compliance with local and international trade regulations (such as DGFT or customs frameworks).
- Monitor foreign exchange (forex) fluctuations and track export receivables or payments.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Experience: Typically 1 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in export sales, international trade, or logistics coordination.
- Core Competencies:
- Deep understanding of Incoterms, customs clearances, and international trade laws.
- Robust negotiation, cross-cultural communication, and B2B sales skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, documentation software, and MS Excel.
- Willingness to travel internationally for client meetings and trade shows.
