Educational Qualifications

- MBA / PGDM in IT, Information Systems, Project Management, or equivalent.
- B.E. / B.Tech with relevant IT programme management experience will also be considered.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PMU Team Leader / IT Programme Manager to lead and manage large-scale, multi-product and multi-vendor IT programmes in Ujjain.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in IT programme delivery, bank on-premises deployments, vendor coordination, project governance, SLA management, stakeholder reporting and technical documentation.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring successful programme execution, timely delivery, risk management, compliance and coordination with government authorities, vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Programme & Project Delivery

- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT programmes involving multiple products, vendors and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), milestones, timelines and critical paths.
- Monitor project progress, dependencies, risks and deliverables.
- Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies).
- Manage change requests, escalations and project governance.
- Ensure timely implementation of on-premises and hybrid IT solutions.

2. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with OEMs, technology vendors, implementation partners and field engineering teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, government authorities and senior management.
- Conduct project reviews, steering committee meetings and stakeholder presentations.
- Manage vendor deliverables,



contractual obligations and performance.

3. SLA, KPI & Governance Management

- Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Track project milestones, payment schedules, penalties and contractual commitments.
- Prepare PMU MIS reports, programme dashboards and management presentations.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards and compliance requirements.

4. Technical Implementation & Coordination

- Oversee on-premises and hybrid IT deployments, including banking-grade infrastructure.
- Coordinate integrations involving face-biometric systems, kiosks, turnstiles and access-control solutions.
- Work with technical teams on AWS, Linux, REST APIs and CI/CD-related activities.
- Support multi-location rollouts and field engineering operations.

5. Documentation & Quality Management

- Review Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and obtain necessary sign-offs.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), implementation documentation and handover reports.
- Ensure proper project closure and knowledge transfer.

Mandatory Skills

- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT project/programme management.
- Strong experience in multi-product and multi-vendor IT programme delivery.
- Hands-on experience in project planning, governance, SLA tracking and risk management.
- Experience managing on-premises or hybrid IT deployments.
- Strong vendor management, stakeholder coordination and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of MS Project / Primavera, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Excel and Power BI.
- Understanding of PMBOK,



Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of ITIL 4 and ISO 27001 principles.
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work full time onsite in Ujjain, Monday to Saturday.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Experience handling Government, PSU, e-Governance, Smart City or temple-trust projects.
- Knowledge of GFR, GeM and government tender/contract management.
- Experience in banking on-premises deployments and multi-site implementations.
- Exposure to large-scale public events, crowd-management systems or high-footfall operations such as Kumbh/Simhastha.
- Awareness of the DPDP Act 2023, CERT-In guidelines and biometric data privacy requirements.
- Working knowledge of SQL, advanced Excel and Power BI dashboards.
- Fluency in Hindi and English for senior-level stakeholder communication.

Certifications

Required:

- PMP – Project Management Professional
- ITIL 4 Foundation

Preferred:

- PRINCE2
- PgMP
- SAFe
- Six Sigma Green Belt

Additional Requirements

- The selected candidate will be the single point of accountability for programme SLAs, delivery milestones and payment tracking.
- Must be available full-time onsite in Ujjain.
- Should be capable of identifying and managing an approved deputy for operational continuity.
- Strong ownership, leadership and long-term commitment to the project are essential.
- Replacement of the designated programme leader will be subject to client approval.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A senior IT Programme Manager with 10+ years of experience managing complex, multi-vendor technology programmes, preferably within government, banking, public infrastructure or e-Governance environments.

The candidate should demonstrate strong programme governance, vendor management, technical coordination and executive-level reporting capabilities.
