Job Summary

The Hub In-Charge is responsible for managing the daily operations of the delivery hub, ensuring timely shipment processing, efficient manpower utilization, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery performance. The role involves coordinating with delivery executives, warehouse staff, transport teams, and central operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hub Operations
- Manage daily inbound and outbound shipment operations.
- Ensure timely receiving, sorting, scanning, dispatching, and delivery of shipments.
- Monitor shipment movement and ensure adherence to operational timelines.
- Maintain proper hub organization and cleanliness.

- Team Management

- Supervise delivery executives, hub staff, and sorting personnel.
- Allocate daily workloads and delivery routes.
- Monitor staff attendance, productivity, and performance.
- Train team members on operational processes and safety procedures.

- Shipment and Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate shipment records and scan compliance.
- Monitor pending, undelivered, returned, damaged, and missing shipments.
- Conduct regular physical stock reconciliation.
- Ensure proper handling and security of shipments.

- Performance and MIS Reporting

- Track delivery performance, pending shipments, productivity, and service-level targets.
- Prepare daily operational reports and share them with management.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions.




- Work toward achieving hub performance KPIs.

- Customer Service and Issue Resolution

- Coordinate with customer support to resolve delivery complaints.
- Handle escalations related to delayed, damaged, or missing shipments.
- Ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

- Compliance and Safety

- Follow company policies, standard operating procedures, and security guidelines.
- Ensure accurate documentation and cash-on-delivery reconciliation, where applicable.
- Maintain a safe working workplace and prevent shipment losses.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate or 12th pass, depending on company requirements.
- Experience in logistics, courier, warehouse, e-commerce, or delivery operations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, email, shipment tracking systems, and MIS reporting.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage teams and work under operational deadlines.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- On-time dispatch and delivery percentage.
- Shipment scan compliance.
- Pending and undelivered shipment volume.
- Shipment loss and damage rate.
- Delivery team productivity.
- Customer complaint resolution.
- Inventory accuracy and COD reconciliation, where applicable.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Area Manager / Operations Manager
Supervises: Delivery Executives, Hub Associates, and Sorting Staff.

Work Conditions

- Full-time, hub-based operational role.
- May require shift work, weekend availability, and handling peak-season workloads.
