You will turn customer enquiries into winning, profitable offers by combining turbine engineering with techno-commercial negotiation.

Key responsibilities
- Manage steam turbine bids across the full range of turbines, from enquiry to order
- Evaluate tenders and take bid / no-bid decisions based on client requirements
- Perform steam turbine preliminary and performance calculations and prepare Heat & Mass Balance diagrams
- Prepare budgetary and firm bids, including bid estimation and costing
- Select connected equipment such as generator, gearbox, oil system and piping
- Initiate and close the Technical Bid Approval Form with the Engineering team
- Lead techno-commercial discussions with customers, consultants and other stakeholders, and close technical proposal discussions
- Negotiate with vendors and coordinate across internal departments
- Communicate technical risk to the Head of Sales and Management,
and commercial risk to the Commercial Manager and project team
- Coordinate with global Sales & Application counterparts to obtain required details and specifications
- Maintain CRM records and deliver MIS reporting
Must-have skills
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience, with hands-on steam turbine proposal / tendering / application engineering
- Steam turbine performance calculations and Heat & Mass Balance diagram preparation
- Strong fundamentals of thermodynamics
- Bid estimation and preparation of budgetary and firm offers
- Techno-commercial negotiation with customers and consultants
- Selection of connected equipment (generator, gearbox, oil system, piping)
- Disciplined team player with a willingness to learn
Nice-to-have skills
- Understanding of API 611 / API 612 requirements
- Reading and interpreting P&IDs; and datasheets
- Experience owning project filtering and bid / no-bid decisions
- Experience working with global or overseas teams
- Vendor negotiation and coordination
- CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and MIS reporting
- Positive attitude, go-getter mindset and robust time management
