Requirements
- Verifiable freelance or contract work (GitHub profile, case studies, or client references) showing real infrastructure/deployment work
- Hands-on expertise in your specific cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), IaC tool (Terraform/Ansible), and container platform (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to set up and maintain pipelines independently with minimal onboarding (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Can work with minimal supervision and documents work clearly for handoff/continuity (critical since freelancers often work part time or remotely)
- Comfortable signing NDAs, using secure access methods (VPN, least-privilege access), and following your data-handling policies
- Clarity on hourly/project-based rates, and willingness to work within defined scope or sprints
- Willingness (and rate clarity) for on-call or emergency support if your systems need it
- Ability to quickly understand and integrate with existing infrastructure without extensive hand-holding
