1. Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, consents, and statutory requirements applicable to the cement plant.
2. Monitor and control environmental parameters including air emissions, ambient air quality, water quality, noise levels, and fugitive dust emissions.
3. Maintain and monitor environmental control systems such as ESPs, Bag Filters, STP, ETP, and dust suppression systems to ensure effective pollution control.
4. Coordinate environmental monitoring, testing, data analysis, and submission of statutory reports to regulatory authorities.
5. Implement and sustain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) and facilitate internal and external environmental audits.
6. Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal, recycling activities, and ensure compliance with waste management rules.

Liaise with Pollution Control Boards, government authorities, laboratories, and consultants for environmental compliance, inspections, and approvals.
8. Drive sustainability initiatives, resource conservation programs, environmental awareness training, and continuous improvement projects to enhance the plants environmental performance.
