3D Artist (Blender Expert), Freelance

We’re a design-led luxury consumer brand building its first product line, and we’re looking for a freelance Blender artist to bring our products to life in 3D before and after they’re made. You’ll model, texture, light and animate soft, tactile products so they look real enough to touch on a screen.

What you’ll do

Model and texture our products in Blender, from sketches, reference photos and digital patterns shared by our pattern designer

Create realistic fabric, fur and soft-material surfaces that show texture up close

Light and render product shots for the website, social media and launch campaigns

Build short product animations and turntables, and help create a slow, cinematic hero video for our website

Prepare clean files and render variations (colours, angles, sizes) quickly when the design changes

Work directly with the founder and the design team to make every frame feel calm, premium and considered

What we’re looking for

A strong Blender portfolio with work you made yourself (we will look at materials, lighting and realism)

Hands-on skill with hair and fur, cloth simulation, shading and Cycles rendering A good eye for lighting and composition: soft light, close-up texture, lots of empty space A feel for luxury and emotion-led visuals, not loud or cartoonish styles

Comfortable taking files from other 3D tools (OBJ, FBX) and turning them into finished renders

Engagement

Freelance, project-based

Paid per project or milestone, agreed before each piece of work starts

Ongoing work for the right artist as we launch current designs every few months

How to apply: Email [email protected] with (1) your portfolio link (ArtStation, Behance or a drive folder), (2) one render you’re proud of that shows fabric or fur up close, with a line on how you made it, and (3) your rate per project or per day.
