Role Description The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational activities of the branch, ensuring smooth processing of housing finance applications, disbursements, and post-disbursement services. This full time, on-site role based in Chennai involves coordinating with sales, credit, and collections teams to maintain high service standards, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and timely resolution of customer queries. The person in this role monitors branch performance metrics, manages documentation and process controls, and ensures accurate and timely reporting to regional and corporate offices.

Key responsibilities include supervising branch staff,



optimizing workflow efficiency, maintaining audit-readiness, and supporting initiatives to enhance customer experience.

The Branch Operations

Manager also contributes to process improvements and supports training and development of branch team members.

Qualifications

- Strong branch operations management skills, including process oversight, workflow optimization, and team supervision.
- Experience in housing finance or financial services operations, with familiarity in loan processing, documentation, and disbursement procedures.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to housing finance, including NHB and other relevant guidelines.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and use of branch management systems or financial software tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage effectively with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management or finance is an advantage.
- Prior experience in branch operations or similar managerial roles in banking, NBFCs, or housing finance companies is preferred.
