This is a sales role with an operations tail. Read both halves before you apply.

VILLASA is a premium villa and boutique-stay brand based in Kolkata. We market and run 25+ villas across West Bengal — Vedic Village, Raichak, Sonarpur, Rajarhat and others. Guests find us through Instagram, Google and our content, and they message us on WhatsApp.

Half one — you close.

Inbound enquiries come to you. Your job is to take a guest from "I'm thinking about a villa next weekend" to "advance paid, booking confirmed." Booking values run ₹15,000 to ₹80,000+. Most guests will tell you the price is too high and that they found something cheaper on Airbnb. Handling that, without flinching and without discounting reflexively, is the job.

Half two — you deliver.

Closing is not the end. You then collect guest documents, coordinate with the property owner and caretaker, confirm the villa is ready, run the pre-check-in call, follow up on the balance payment, handle anything that goes wrong during the stay, and chase the guest afterwards for a review. A booking you closed badly becomes your own problem three days later.

A typical day

- 15–25 inbound WhatsApp enquiries
- Sending property options against live availability




- Calling owners and caretakers to confirm dates
- Following up yesterday's quotes that didn't close
- 5–10 active bookings at various stages, all moving at once

You'll fit if

- You've done inside sales, telesales or pre-sales anywhere — travel, real estate, edtech, insurance, membership. Any B2C selling counts.
- You're comfortable asking someone for ₹40,000 in a steady voice
- You can hold fifteen WhatsApp conversations without losing track of one
- You're rapid in English and Hindi, both written and spoken
- You're organised enough that nothing falls through — because here, it falls on you

You won't fit if

- Your background is customer support with no sales target
- Pricing pushback makes you uncomfortable
- You need a script for every situation
- You want a predictable desk job — this role is interrupt-driven all day

What we offer

- ₹1,80,000 – ₹3,00,000/p.a + incentives depending on experience and how you interview
- Full training and handover from our outgoing Reservations Manager, who has run this desk for two years
