ROLE OVERVIEWWe are looking for a Video Producer with a strong pre-production background, who turns research and references into ideas, scripts and shoot-ready plans for performance marketing content and brand storytelling, including IPs and mini-series. You will work very closely with our video producer who leads post-production, so that what we shoot is exactly what we need in the edit. As a startup, our roles keep evolving, so you will wear many hats.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research Instagram trends, saves and references, and turn them into content ideas for brands
- Write scripts for performance marketing content and develop brand-level storytelling, including IPs and mini series
- Convert business and campaign requirements into video concepts, storyboards and shot breakdowns
- Plan production schedules, locations, equipment and resources, and coordinate with clients, talent and vendors so approvals and logistics are done before every shoot
- Direct and supervise shoot days alongside the other video producer
- Work closely with the post-production video producer so the final edit matches the idea and the brand standards
- Optimise video content for platforms like Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Create AI-led videos where needed, alongside live-action production
- Understand briefs with clients
- Coordinate with external casting coordinators to find the right cast
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of hands-on pre-production experience as a video producer, from an advertising, design or marketing agency with end-to-end video production exposure
- Robust in concept development, scriptwriting, storyboarding, shot planning and production planning
- Has written scripts for performance marketing content and for brand storytelling such as IPs and mini series
- Can research Instagram saves and references and come up with fresh content ideas
- Has made AI videos hands-on
- Has managed end-to-end shoots across branded content, product videos, testimonials and social media content
- A pre-production profile, not an editing or post-production focused one
- Adaptable and happy to take ownership across functions in a small team
