Role Description This full-time remote Video Editor role is responsible for producing engaging video content that supports product, marketing, and internal communication initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, editing video sequences, adding transitions, sound, and visual effects, and ensuring consistent color grading and branding.

The Video

Editor will collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing teams to understand project goals, translate concepts into visual stories, and deliver videos optimized for various digital platforms. The role also involves creating motion graphics elements, adapting content formats for different channels, and maintaining an organized media library.



Regular communication with project stakeholders, meeting deadlines, and proactively suggesting creative improvements are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing to plan, assemble, and refine high-quality video content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design and integrate animated elements, titles, and visual assets.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is required.
- Strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing, audio mixing, and visual composition are beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines is essential.
- Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams are preferred.
- A relevant portfolio demonstrating video editing, motion graphics, and color grading work; formal education in film, media, design, or related fields is a plus.
