Role Description The Tendering Specialist role at Puregrid is a full-time, in office position based in Jaipur.

The Tendering

Specialist will manage the end-to-end tendering process, including identifying relevant opportunities, analyzing bid requirements, coordinating internal inputs, and preparing competitive proposals for solar EPC and related projects. This role involves drafting and reviewing tender documents, overseeing submission timelines, and ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, and regulatory specifications.

The Tendering

Specialist will collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, finance,



and leadership teams to develop accurate cost estimates and pricing strategies. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining tender documentation, tracking outcomes, supporting contract negotiations, and contributing to continuous improvement of tendering processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong tender management capabilities, including experience in handling RFPs, RFQs, and bid submissions for EPC or renewable energy projects.
- Well-developed analytical skills for evaluating technical specifications, commercial terms, risk factors, and cost structures.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders, engage with clients or vendors, and present tender-related information clearly.
- Proficiency in proposal writing, with the ability to create structured, accurate, and persuasive technical and commercial bid documents.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor evaluation, and sourcing strategies relevant to solar and electrical components.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field; experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort with MS Office and relevant tendering or ERP tools; familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements in solar projects is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Jaipur and maintain a professional, ethical approach to all commercial activities.
