Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Chennai.

The Technical Sales

Engineer will engage with industrial and utility clients to understand their measurement and calibration requirements and recommend suitable flow and level instrumentation solutions. Typical responsibilities include preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting product demonstrations, supporting trials and installations, and responding to technical queries before and after sales. The role involves close collaboration with the engineering and production teams to ensure accurate specifications, as well as regular customer visits, follow-ups,



and participation in trade shows or technical seminars.

The Technical Sales

Engineer is expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the product portfolio and industry standards to support customers effectively and contribute to revenue growth.

Qualifications

- Strong Technical Sales and Sales Engineering skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into appropriate instrumentation solutions.
- Experience in Technical Support for flow and level measurement or related industrial products.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear technical presentation and customer interaction abilities.
- Proven Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing opportunities in B2B environments.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Familiarity with flow meters, level transmitters, and calibration systems, or a strong willingness to learn these technologies.
- Ability to work on-site, travel to customer locations, and manage time effectively across multiple accounts.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office, and basic reporting for sales and technical activities.

*This is a field sales role and Engineer will be expected to be on tour 2-3 weeks a month and interact with customers including site visits and understand customer requirements, site conditions, applications and suggest suitable solution to the customer including offer submission, negotiation and offer closing.
