Role Description The Team Manager AR, US Healthcare will oversee accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up on patient and insurance claims for US-based healthcare clients. This full-time, on-site role in Chennai includes managing a team of AR associates, monitoring performance metrics, assigning workloads, and providing guidance on complex account resolution. The manager will review aging reports, identify trends and root causes, and implement process improvements to optimize collections and reduce denials.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include coordinating with client stakeholders, resolving escalated customer or account issues, and ensuring adherence to compliance standards and client service-level agreements.



The role involves coaching and training team members, conducting quality audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve overall revenue cycle outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret AR reports, identify trends, and drive data-based decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with clients, payers, internal stakeholders, and team members.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service capabilities to address escalations, maintain client satisfaction, and support patient-centered processes.
- Candidates should possess Account Management experience to oversee claim follow-up, manage portfolios, and ensure resolution of outstanding balances.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to onboard new team members, provide ongoing coaching, and enhance team performance.
- Prior experience in US healthcare accounts receivable or revenue cycle management, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Knowledge of US medical billing, insurance terminology, denials management, and regulatory and payer guidelines.
- Ability to manage teams in a high-volume setting, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in AR and billing systems, basic Excel skills, and comfort working with performance dashboards and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
