Role Description The Supply Chain Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. This position is responsible for coordinating end-to-end supply chain activities, including demand planning, procurement support, order processing, and logistics coordination for specialty chemicals, additives, and packaging materials. Daily tasks include monitoring inventory levels, tracking shipments, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring timely replenishment to meet production and customer requirements.

The role involves maintaining accurate data in ERP or inventory systems, preparing routine reports, and collaborating with operations, sales, and finance to optimize supply chain performance and cost efficiency.

The Supply Chain





Specialist also supports continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process gaps and recommending practical solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supply Chain Management and Operations Management skills, with experience in coordinating procurement, logistics, and order fulfillment.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills, including demand forecasting, stock control, and familiarity with ERP or inventory software.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and propose improvements to supply chain processes.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience in chemicals, additives, packaging, or manufacturing industries is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a structured approach to documentation and reporting are advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools, and familiarity with safety and compliance standards in industrial environments, is helpful.
