Loop Lab is a D2C hair care accessories brand built around one idea: everyday hair accessories shouldn’t damage your hair. We design with hair-safe fabrics and we’re expanding fast into Hair Styling and more. We’re a small, lean team that moves quickly, and we’re now building our own manufacturing alongside our vendor network.
The roleYou will own Loop Lab’s entire supply chain across India and China. Your job is to make sure we can launch any new colour or product quickly, in small quantities, at the right cost, without relying on one vendor or one shipment.
This is a hands-on, first-team role. You’ll build the supply chain, not just run one, and you’ll grow with the company as our in-house manufacturing scales.
What you’ll do
- Find, qualify and lock vendors in India and China, with a primary and a backup for every critical input
- Negotiate low MOQs, price tiers and lead times, and hold vendors to quality standards
- Run imports end to end: freight, customs, duties, and landed-cost sheets for every SKU
- Plan fabric and material requirements, including dyeing, wastage and shrink, and turn demand forecasts into POs with clear due dates
- Keep product costs within target margins, and flag early when a quote breaks them
- Support our own manufacturing unit with raw materials and vendor backup, and help scale it over time
- Work closely with the founder and product team so specs, samples and launches stay on schedule
- Build simple systems and trackers so the supply chain runs without chasing
What we’re looking forMust have:
- 3-5 years in sourcing, procurement or supply chain, ideally in fashion accessories, apparel, textiles or D2C
- First-hand experience sourcing from China, with real import experience
- A proven record of negotiating low MOQs and getting quick turnaround on small runs
- Strong fabric and textile knowledge (dyeing, GSM, shrink, colour matching)
- The ability to build and own a landed-cost and COGS sheet
- A fast, hands-on, ownership mindset, and comfort working in a lean team
Good to have:
- Experience with hard goods or plastic components (coils, clips, combs, brushes)
- Experience setting up or scaling a stitching or small manufacturing unit
- Existing vendor networks in Yiwu, Guangzhou, or Indian textile hubs
- Working knowledge of Mandarin or experience managing sourcing agents in China
What you’ll get
- Real ownership of a function that sits at the centre of the business
- Direct access to the founder and rapid decisions
- Room to grow into running manufacturing and the wider operations as we scale
- Competitive compensation
