Role Description The Student Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mangaluru. The counselor will meet with prospective students and families to understand their educational goals, explain study abroad options, and recommend suitable courses, institutions, and destinations. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, maintaining accurate student records, following up with leads, and supporting students through application, documentation, and admission processes.





The role involves coordinating with internal teams and overseas partners, delivering presentations or information sessions, and ensuring a professional, supportive experience for every student.

The Student

Counselor will also handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits, providing explicit, timely, and empathetic guidance throughout the decision-making journey.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide learners toward suitable programs and institutions.
- Excellent Communication skills, including active listening and clear, empathetic verbal and written interaction.
- Proven Customer Service skills to ensure a positive, respectful, and supportive experience for students and families.
- Solid understanding of Education systems and study abroad pathways across multiple countries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field (master’s degree is an advantage).
- Ability to work on-site in Mangaluru, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Familiarity with international admissions processes, visas, and application procedures is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in commonly used office software and basic CRM tools; multilingual abilities are a plus.
