Company Description STUDIO NYANDAK - Architecture & Engineering is a Current York City–based multidisciplinary design firm led by founding principal Tenzin Nyandak, PE, AIA. The studio collaborates with public agencies, cultural institutions, entrepreneurs, developers, and private clients in New York City and internationally. Role Description The Structural Engineer will be responsible for structural analysis, design, and review of building projects in coordination with the architecture team. Day-to-day tasks include performing detailed calculations, developing structural systems, preparing engineering drawings and specifications, and reviewing shop drawings and submittals. The role involves close collaboration with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure safety, code compliance, constructability, and alignment with project design intent.





The Structural

Engineer will participate in site visits, inspections, and coordination meetings, providing clear technical documentation and reports. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dharamshala.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building design.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and performing detailed Calculations for a variety of structural systems.
- Experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to prepare and coordinate structural drawings and details.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and best practices for structural design and safety.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and integrity in engineering work.
- Prior experience in building design or construction, and familiarity with architectural coordination for at least 4 to 5 years is required.
