Role Description The Structural BIM Modeler intern will support the project team by developing and updating structural BIM models for architectural and construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating 3D structural models, coordinating with architects and engineers, incorporating design changes, and ensuring models align with project standards and timelines. The intern will assist in preparing drawings, views, and documentation extracted from BIM models, and help maintain model accuracy and organization across different project stages.

This is an internship role, based on-site in Delhi,



India, offering hands-on experience with real projects and close collaboration with design and construction professionals.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of structural engineering concepts and building systems applicable to BIM modeling.
- Proficiency in BIM and design tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar software) for creating and managing structural models and drawings.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents with attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of 3D modeling workflows, model coordination, and clash detection principles in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve modeling inconsistencies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with architects, engineers, and project managers in a team setting.
- Organized work habits, reliability in meeting deadlines, and openness to learning recent tools and methodologies.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; prior internship or project experience in BIM is an advantage.
