Role Description The Steward (Italian Cuisine) role at Toscano India is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The steward is responsible for supporting daily restaurant operations, including preparing and organizing service areas, assisting in serving Italian food and beverages, and ensuring tables and dining spaces are clean and well-presented. The role includes welcoming guests, responding to their needs, coordinating with the kitchen and service teams,



and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

The steward helps deliver a smooth dining experience by following service protocols, restocking supplies, and supporting senior service staff during busy hours.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, preferably with exposure to Italian cuisine.
- Ability to participate in and support Training activities to uphold service and hygiene standards.
- Attention to detail, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic education; hospitality or culinary certifications are an added advantage.
