Educational Qualification

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.

Required Skills & Experience

5–9 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably from pharmaceutical machinery, automation, or machine manufacturing industries.

Solid knowledge of procurement processes, vendor development, and supplier management.

Familiarity with import/export documentation and procurement policies.

Experience working with ERP systems for purchase orders, inventory tracking, and reporting.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and manage multiple procurement activities.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

Handle purchase requisitions and procure raw materials, components, machinery parts, and services as per company requirements.

Generate and manage purchase orders through ERP systems.

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.

Conduct market research, vendor analysis, and price comparisons to ensure cost-effective procurement.

Negotiate pricing,



payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms with suppliers.

Monitor market trends and identify cost-reduction opportunities.

Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new vendor networks.

Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production delays.

Handle import/export documentation and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Maintain purchase records, vendor agreements, price lists, and procurement reports.

Monitor supplier performance, material quality, and delivery timelines.

Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and procurement priorities.

Identify supply chain risks and implement corrective measures.

Participate in budget planning and cost management initiatives.

Continuously improve procurement processes and operational efficiency.
