About the RoleKuvam Technologies is looking for a skilled and technically sound Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of CNC/VMC machine tools and precision industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation and commissioning of CNC/VMC machines and related equipment.
2. Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and operational issues.
3. Servicing and maintenance of CNC spindles, rotary tables and angle heads.
4. Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance.
5. Diagnose machine faults and identify root causes.
6. Perform spindle alignment, inspection and basic testing.
7. Handle customer-site visits for installation and technical support.
8. Provide technical assistance and resolve customer complaints.
9. Prepare service reports and maintain service records.
10. Coordinate with the internal technical and sales teams.





Technical Skills Required
- CNC / VMC / HMC machine knowledge.
- Knowledge of machine installation and commissioning.
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Knowledge of CNC spindle assembly and servicing.
- Understanding of rotary tables and angle heads.
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings and engineering components.
- Basic electrical and hydraulic / pneumatic knowledge.
- Knowledge of CNC controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens or Mitsubishi will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.

Candidate Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in machine tools or industrial equipment servicing.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and customer-handling skills.
