Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Technical Architect / Senior Developer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations and legacy-to-ServiceNow migration projects.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in migrating large volumes of data from legacy platforms and databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server into ServiceNow. The candidate must possess solid technical expertise in ServiceNow Import Sets, Transform Maps, MID Server, JDBC integrations, CMDB architecture, and enterprise integration frameworks.

The role will involve providing technical leadership, defining solution architecture, managing complex data migration initiatives, and working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable and reliable ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions.
- Design and deliver large-scale legacy-to-ServiceNow data migration projects.
- Develop migration strategies for extracting, transforming, validating, and loading data from legacy systems into ServiceNow.
- Design and implement integrations with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server using MID Server, JDBC, and other integration mechanisms.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow Import Sets, Transform Maps, Business Rules, Script Includes, and IntegrationHub.
- Design and implement CMDB data models, data reconciliation processes, and data governance strategies.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, consistency, and accuracy throughout migration and integration processes.
- Define technical architecture, development standards, integration patterns,



and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and implementation teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and client teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex integration, migration, and performance-related issues.
- Prepare technical design documents, architecture diagrams, migration plans, and implementation documentation.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Minimum 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and implementation experience.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Developer.
- Strong experience in enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations and custom application development.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale data migration from legacy systems into ServiceNow.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with ServiceNow MID Server configuration and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with JDBC integrations and database connectivity.
- Strong expertise in:
- Import Sets and Transform Maps
- ServiceNow Integration Framework
- REST and SOAP APIs
- Business Rules and Script Includes
- Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
- Data Sources and Scheduled Imports
- Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, CI classes, relationships, data identification, reconciliation, and data governance.
- Experience with data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.

Preferred Skills

- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS, or CTA.
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise legacy applications.
- Knowledge of ETL concepts and enterprise data migration methodologies.
- Experience with performance optimization and large-volume data processing.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
