– Mechanical Engineer (Silo Operations)

Department: Engineering / Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle maintenance and upkeep of silo equipment and machinery.
- Ensure smooth functioning of bucket elevators, belt conveyors, screw conveyors, blowers, motors and gearboxes.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of silo machinery.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot mechanical faults.
- Supervise installation, repair and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of grain handling, loading and unloading systems.
- Monitor fabrication, welding and mechanical repair activities.
- Maintain maintenance records and ensure minimum equipment downtime.
- Coordinate with operations and safety teams for smooth silo functioning.




- Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in grain silos, bulk material handling or food processing plants preferred.
- Knowledge of conveyors, bucket elevators, screw conveyors and material handling systems.
- Valuable troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.

Experience: 2–5 years in silo / plant maintenance preferred.
