Role Description The Senior Litigation Associate will handle end-to-end management of litigation matters, including case assessment, strategy development, and representation before various courts and tribunals. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, written arguments, and other legal documents; conducting detailed legal and factual research; preparing and taking depositions; and coordinating with clients, witnesses, and external counsel. The role involves regular court appearances, managing case timelines, supervising junior team members, and contributing to internal best practices and knowledge sharing.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ernakulam,



requiring consistent presence for hearings, client meetings, and collaboration with colleagues. The role will entail travel as well.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with proven experience in civil and/or commercial litigation of a minimum of 2 years.
- Ability to draft and argue Motions and other substantive applications before various Courts.
- Advanced Research skills for case law, statutes, regulations, and factual investigation.
- Experience preparing and conducting Depositions, including examination and cross-examination of witnesses.
- Familiarity with procedures and practice in trial and appellate Courts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from an accredited institution; enrollment with the Bar Council and eligibility to practice.
- Several years of post-qualification litigation experience, preferably in a law firm or litigation-focused practice.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Ability to mentor junior lawyers, work collaboratively in a team, and maintain skilled ethics and client confidentiality.
