Role Description The Senior Executive Purchase will manage end-to-end procurement activities for engineering and manufacturing materials, components, and services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for vendor sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization to ensure timely and cost-effective supply.

The role includes issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, coordinating with production, quality, and engineering teams, and maintaining accurate purchase records and documentation. The Senior Executive Purchase will monitor inventory levels, support demand planning, and ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.

The position also involves ERP-based procurement management: raising purchase requisitions, purchase orders,



and goods receipt entries in the ERP system, and keeping vendor master data, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules accurate and up to date. The role uses ERP reports and dashboards (such as MRP outputs, stock levels, open PO status, and vendor-wise spend) to plan purchases, track material availability, and support timely decisions. The incumbent will also ensure ERP-based traceability of purchase transactions for audit and quality compliance.

Finally, the role includes continuous vendor performance review, cost optimization initiatives, and contributing to process improvements in the supply chain, including better use of ERP workflows and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Proven experience as a Senior Purchase Executive / Senior Purchasing Officer or similar role

· Solid knowledge of procurement and vendor coordination

· Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP / Zoho ERP preferred)

· Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

· Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

· Experience in manufacturing or engineering industry

· Knowledge of GST, basic commercial terms, and inventory control

· Exposure to audits and vendor evaluation processes
