Role Description The Senior Executive Purchase is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for engineering and industrial components, systems, and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials in line with production and project requirements. The role involves coordinating with engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, support project timelines,



and comply with internal control and audit standards.

The Senior Executive

Purchase will monitor vendor performance, maintain accurate purchase records, support cost optimization initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement in the supply chain process.

Qualifications

- Procurement and supply chain skills, including vendor identification, negotiation, purchase order processing, and supplier relationship management.
- Experience with industrial and engineering procurement, preferably for thermal engineering, compressed air treatment, HVAC, or aerospace and defense projects.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, including cost analysis, budgeting support, and basic contract review.
- Proficiency in ERP or procurement software, MS Excel, and data management for accurate tracking of orders, inventory, and vendor performance.
- Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO9001, AS9100) and basic understanding of technical specifications for industrial equipment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple purchasing requirements, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing or project environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field; prior experience in a similar purchasing role is strongly preferred.
