We're Hiring: Senior Associate - Mechanical Design

Position: Senior Associate - Mechanical Design

Location: Cochin

Experience Level: 3~5 years

CTC: 4~6 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using sheet metal and plastic materials.
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including industrial designers and manufacturing engineers, to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including BOMs, technical specifications, and assembly instructions.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve product quality and reliability.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2~3 years of experience in mechanical design with a focus on sheet metal and plastic components.




- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances for sheet metal and plastic parts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas effectively.
