Role Description This is a full-time, in office Scrum Master role based in Canada, supporting Canada-related opportunities and projects at Esse India.

The Scrum

Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring teams follow agreed processes and deliver outcomes on time. This role involves working closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to clarify user stories, remove impediments, and maintain a transparent backlog.

The Scrum





Master will coach team members on Agile values and practices, track and report key metrics, and continuously improve workflows to support high-quality software and service delivery aligned with immigration consulting goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sprint Planning and User Stories skills to facilitate effective Agile ceremonies and maintain a clear, actionable backlog.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret project data, identify bottlenecks, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Candidates should possess a good understanding of Software Development processes to work effectively with technical teams and align delivery with business needs.
- Experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role, preferably in IT or software-driven environments.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM) are beneficial.
