1. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO) Consultant with strong Fund Management (FM) expertise The candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing SAP GROW S/4HANA Public Cloud and SAP RISE S/4HANA Private Cloud, with strong functional knowledge of financial accounting, controlling, budgeting, fund management, financial reporting, and integration with other SAP modules.

Experience in mining, metals, manufacturing, or capital-intensive industries will be an added advantage.

2. Key Responsibilities

SAP Finance (FI)

- Lead SAP FI configuration, implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
- Configure General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
- Manage company codes, chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, posting periods, and financial organizational structures.
- Configure automatic payment programs, bank reconciliation, and financial closing processes.
- Support financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss reporting, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable US accounting and financial reporting requirements.

SAP Controlling (CO)

- Configure Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, and cost allocation processes.
- Implement budgeting, cost planning, and variance analysis.
- Support production cost tracking, maintenance cost allocation, and project-related financial controlling.
- Integrate controlling processes with SAP MM, SD, PS, PP, and EAM.
- Support management reporting and profitability analysis.

SAP Fund Management (FM)

- Lead the design and implementation of Fund Management and budget control processes.
- Configure Funds Centers, Commitment Items, Fund Masters, and relevant budget structures.




- Implement budget allocation, availability control, commitment tracking, and budget consumption reporting.
- Configure budget checks for Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and financial postings.
- Integrate Fund Management with FI, CO, MM, and Project Systems.
- Support capital expenditure (CAPEX), operational expenditure (OPEX), and departmental budget monitoring.
- Evaluate and implement suitable budget management functionality based on the capabilities and licensing of the selected SAP S/4HANA Cloud deployment.

Implementation & Project Delivery
- Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and business requirement discussions.
- Prepare Business Process Design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications.
- Support financial master data migration, opening balances, and reconciliation activities.
- Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-user training.
- Support cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Coordinate with Mesabi Metallics business stakeholders and onsite/offshore implementation teams.

3. Required Skills & Experience

- 5–8 years of SAP FICO functional experience, including substantial hands-on Fund Management or budget control experience.
- Implementation experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (GROW with SAP) and Private Cloud (RISE with SAP).
- Participation in at least two end-to-end SAP implementations, preferably including SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of FI, CO, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and budget management.
- Practical experience in Funds Management, Availability Control, and commitment management.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications,



SAP Activate methodology, and Fit-to-Standard workshops.
- Understanding of US GAAP, financial closing, audit controls, and financial reporting.
- Strong integration knowledge across SAP MM, SD, PS, PP, and EAM.
- Excellent communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently handle functional deliverables and interact with international clients.

4. Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Mandatory).
- CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or SAP S/4HANA Finance certification will be an added advantage.
- Valid US B1 or H1B visa preferred but not mandatory.

5. Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with SAP Finance and Fund Management implementation experience in the following industries will be preferred:

- Mining and Metals
- Iron Ore Processing and Pellet Plants
- Steel and Heavy Engineering
- Manufacturing and Industrial Operations
- Capital-Intensive Projects and Asset Management

6. Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for a technically solid, hands-on SAP FICO & Fund Management Consultant who can independently manage finance and budget management implementation activities.

The ideal candidate should possess strong functional configuration skills, understand integration across SAP modules, and be capable of working directly with business stakeholders to deliver an accelerated SAP S/4HANA implementation for Mesabi Metallics.

Special Preference: Candidates with experience implementing Fund Management, budget availability control, CAPEX/OPEX tracking, and financial processes in SAP S/4HANA Cloud environments will be highly preferred.

Recruitment Note: SAP Funds Management functionality and extensibility differ between S/4HANA Public Cloud and Private Cloud. Candidates should be evaluated on their understanding of these differences and their ability to recommend appropriate supported budget control solutions.
