Role Description The Sales Manager – Mortgages is a full-time, on-site role based in Gorakhpur, responsible for driving mortgage sales and managing relationships with customers and lending partners. The role includes generating and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings, assessing financial needs, and recommending suitable mortgage products such as home loans and loans against property.

The Sales

Manager will oversee the end-to-end sales process, including documentation support, coordination with lenders, and ensuring timely loan approvals and disbursements. Daily responsibilities also involve monitoring sales performance, guiding a small sales team or channel partners, preparing reports for management,



and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires close collaboration with internal operations, lender representatives, and external stakeholders to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

- Solid sales and business development skills in mortgages or retail lending, including lead generation, pipeline management, and relationship building.
- Knowledge of mortgage products (home loans, loans against property), credit evaluation basics, and loan documentation processes.
- Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and negotiate effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs, compare lender offerings, and structure appropriate financial solutions.
- Experience collaborating with lenders, channel partners, and internal teams
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic office software to track leads, maintain records, and generate reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field
- Prior experience in mortgage sales, home loans, or financial services in a similar regional market is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Gorakhpur, with flexibility for local travel for client meetings and lender visits.
