About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to join our growing QA team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and stability of our web and mobile applications (iOS & Android) through robust manual testing, supported by programmatic and AI-assisted testing practices.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and fellow QA professionals to deliver reliable, user-friendly software. We are especially interested in testers who use up-to-date tools, such as Playwright and AI assistants like Claude, to build context quickly and produce rigorous test coverage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and mobile platforms (Android & iOS).
- Develop and maintain structured test suites covering smoke, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure software quality across releases.
- Work closely with product and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
- Use AI tools to rapidly build product context and draft rigorous smoke, regression, and end-to-end tests, then review and refine them for accuracy.
- Build and run programmatic tests using tools such as Playwright and AI-driven browser control (e.g., Claude for browser automation) to speed up repetitive and regression checks.
- Validate and test REST APIs using tools like Postman.
- Identify, log, and track bugs and issues through to resolution using JIRA or similar tools.




- Provide timely and clear reporting on test progress, defect status, and release readiness.
- Support release activities by conducting UAT and sanity checks.
- Assist in replicating production issues and work closely with developers to isolate and debug problems.
- Maintain and optimize the test repository for scalability and coverage.

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of QA experience in manual testing and in building and maintaining test suites.
- Proficient in creating test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on product requirements.
- Familiarity with Android Studio and Xcode for mobile app installations on simulators or real devices.
- Understanding of API testing concepts; working experience with Postman is a plus.
- Experience with bug tracking and test case management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, etc.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with programmatic testing tools such as Playwright and with AI-driven browser control (e.g., Claude for browser automation).
- Experience using AI tools to quickly build context on a product and draft rigorous smoke, regression, and end-to-end tests.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Basic understanding of test automation concepts.
- Familiarity with mobile app build and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of SQL and basic database validation.
