PROJECT MANAGER

CORE REQUIREMENTS

- Education: Graduate Engineer – Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
- Experience: 8+ years of relevant skilled experience in an engineering project management role.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of industrial product development.
- Global Exposure: Experience working in a multinational/global engineering environment, with exposure to global stakeholder management.
- Change Control: Engineering Change Management – ECR / ECO, configuration control & change governance.
- Optimisation: Experience in value engineering, cost reduction, product optimisation or continuous improvement.
- PM Competencies: Solid project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk management & stakeholder management skills.
- Impact Assessment: Ability to assess technical, commercial, operational & regulatory impacts.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication & influencing skills.
- Analytics Tools: Experience in using Power BI or similar dashboard generation tools.

GOOD TO HAVE

- Experience in compliance/governance projects within engineering, manufacturing or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of quality systems, compliance requirements & controlled change processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional global engineering, manufacturing, supply chain & procurement teams.
- Experience managing external suppliers, manufacturing partners or specialist service providers.
- Qualified project management accreditation – APM / PRINCE2 / PMP.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING





- Manage project activities to sustain current & legacy products through their life cycles to ensure that our products remain competitive & profitable, focusing on Total Customer Solutions.
- Lead compliance & governance projects supporting regulatory compliance, quality requirements, product stewardship & business governance objectives.
- Manage ECRs, ECOs & product change initiatives from initiation through implementation.
- Drive value engineering initiatives covering cost reduction, product optimisation, component rationalisation, supplier changes, material substitutions & design improvements.
- Drive a results-oriented approach with a focus on delivering measurable business value & sustainable outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional teams & establish project plans, budgets, resources, milestones & governance structures.
- Identify risks & opportunities, develop mitigation plans, & ensure appropriate escalation & governance.
