- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and Minimum six (6) years experience in an IT operations environment with technical experience in distributed technologies, systems development, and/or networking.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on PostgreSQL administration experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on MySQL administration experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on MongoDB administration experience.
- Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and patching enterprise database platforms.
- Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Experience with database high availability, replication, clustering, and failover solutions.
- Solid SQL and database performance tuning skills.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production databases in 24x7 environments.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
