Role Description The Plant Head is a full-time, on-site role based at our manufacturing facility in Indore. This position is responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations, including production planning, execution, and overall production management to meet quality, safety, and delivery targets.

The Plant

Head will manage daily workflow on the shop floor, coordinate with maintenance and quality teams, monitor resource utilization, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements. The role includes driving continuous improvement, managing budgets and cost control, optimizing capacity utilization, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Head will lead and develop plant personnel, enforce health and safety standards, and collaborate with senior management on operational strategy and performance reporting.

Qualifications

- Solid plant operations and production management skills, with experience overseeing manufacturing facilities.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling to optimize capacity, resources, and on-time delivery.
- Experience in quality control and implementation of quality standards and processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Capability in budgeting, cost control, and resource optimization to achieve operational and financial targets.
- Experience in PUFF panel or similar building materials manufacturing is an advantage.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage performance, and foster a safe, inclusive work culture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in using production and reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Production Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate with senior management, vendors, and internal teams.
