Role Description The News Graphics Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal, responsible for creating visual assets that support daily news coverage and special features. This role involves designing on-screen graphics, lower thirds, infographics, charts, and visual templates for broadcast and digital platforms. The designer collaborates closely with editorial, production, and social media teams to translate complex news stories into clear, engaging visual formats while maintaining brand consistency.

Day-to-day tasks include developing concepts, executing designs under tight deadlines, optimizing graphics for various formats, and preparing files for live or recorded news segments. The role also includes adapting designs for web, mobile,



and social channels, and contributing ideas to improve visual storytelling and audience engagement.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with experience creating visual content for news or media environments.
- Ability to design and refine Logo Design and Branding elements that align with organizational identity and audience expectations.
- Proficiency in Typography and layout principles to ensure clarity, readability, and visual impact across different formats.
- Experience with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or similar software).
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and the use of color and motion in news graphics.
- Ability to work in office in Bhopal, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative design processes.
- A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in broadcast, digital news, or media design is an asset.
