Role Description The Network Security & Windows Admin is a full-time, on-site role based in Siliguri. This position is responsible for administering Windows servers and systems, managing user accounts, and ensuring secure and reliable network operations. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring network and system performance, applying security policies and patches, troubleshooting incidents, and resolving technical issues for end users and internal teams.

The role involves configuring and maintaining firewalls and other security tools, supporting data protection measures, and participating in backup, recovery, and documentation activities.



The individual collaborates with cross-functional IT teams to implement best practices, maintain compliance, and continuously improve the infrastructure.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Windows Administration and System Administration skills to manage servers, user environments, and configurations.
- Candidates should possess Server Administration and Troubleshooting skills to monitor performance, diagnose issues, and ensure high availability.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support skills to assist users, handle service requests, and provide explicit, solution-focused communication.
- Relevant experience with network security tools, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of backup, recovery, and data protection practices, along with basic knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms, is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Siliguri, manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Industry certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Security+, or similar credentials are an advantage.
