The RoleWe are looking for a talented and versatile Music Composer to join our creative team and compose original music for several of our intellectual properties (IPs), including our flagship animated series, IvyBears.

We are looking for a composer with a strong musical identity, a deep understanding of storytelling through music, and the ability to create memorable, emotionally engaging soundtracks that enhance the narrative and bring characters and worlds to life.

The ideal candidate understands how music works in film and animation, from establishing a distinctive musical identity for a series to composing themes, character motifs, emotional cues, and dynamic action sequences. You should be comfortable adapting your style to different projects, genres, moods, and target audiences while maintaining a high standard of musical quality.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), offering the opportunity to work closely with our creative team and contribute to the musical identity of multiple original productions.

What You Will Do

- Compose Original Music: Create original scores, themes, and musical cues for several of our IPs, including animated series and other narrative projects.
- Enhance Storytelling: Develop music that reinforces emotions, supports character development, builds tension, and elevates the overall viewing experience.
- Develop Musical Identities: Create distinctive and recognizable musical styles for different projects, characters, and fictional worlds.
- Collaborate with the Creative Team: Work closely with directors, producers, editors,



and sound designers to ensure the music aligns with each project's creative vision.
- Adapt and Iterate: Refine compositions based on creative feedback while maintaining musical quality and consistency.
- Meet Production Deadlines: Manage multiple compositions and projects efficiently within an ongoing production schedule.
- Explore New Approaches: Stay up to date with music production tools, technologies, and workflows that can improve creativity and efficiency.

Requirements
- Professional Experience: Proven experience composing original music for film, animation, television, games, or other narrative media.
- Narrative Understanding: A strong understanding of cinematic storytelling and the ability to use music to convey emotion, atmosphere, and narrative progression.
- Composition Skills: Excellent musical composition, arrangement, and orchestration skills, with the ability to work across different genres and styles.
- Music Production: Proficiency in professional digital audio workstations (DAWs) and the ability to deliver polished, production-ready audio.
- Versatility: The ability to develop different musical identities and adapt compositions to the tone and needs of multiple IPs.
- Collaboration: Openness to feedback, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a creative team.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio of original compositions, preferably including music created for narrative projects such as animation, film, or television.
- English Proficiency: A good command of English to communicate effectively with our international team.

Nice to Have





- Experience composing music for children's entertainment or family-oriented content.
- Experience developing recurring themes and leitmotifs for characters, settings, and stories.
- Knowledge of sound design and audio post-production workflows.
- Experience working with remote, international production teams.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted music tools or emerging creative technologies.
