What We're Building

Kuvaka Tech builds AI software for healthcare in India, for hospitals, clinics and public health programmes.

Much of the work in an Indian hospital still happens on paper, from memory or over the phone. Patients queue to register and repeat their symptoms at every desk. Doctors write notes after the consultation.

Insurance claims get rejected because the record is incomplete, and patient calls go unanswered.

We build the products that take this work off doctors and hospital staff: AI that takes a patient's history, documents consultations and surgeries, prepares medical coding and insurance claims, and handles patient calls and follow-ups, along with a complete hospital management system that also connects to the software hospitals already use. Everything works by voice, in the languages doctors and patients actually speak, so a patient who can't read can use it as easily as a specialist in a metro hospital.

The Role

You'll own our mobile apps: Flutter first, going native whenever the platform demands it. There's no mobile designer, so the mobile UI is yours too.

How We Work

- We work in pods. Each pod has a Forward Deployed Engineer who owns the product and a Founder's Office member who acts as delivery manager.
- Mobile is a shared team across all pods. You'll build for every pod, working with each pod's FDE on APIs and product flows.
- Delivery managers set each pod's timelines, and you help balance mobile priorities when several pods need you at once.
- QA signs off every release,



so you test your builds on real devices before handing them over.

What You'll Own

- Build and ship Flutter apps for Android and iOS.
- Go native on Android (Kotlin) for platform channels, kiosk and tablet mode, and device features like camera, microphone and connected peripherals.
- Handle native iOS (Swift) work when needed.
- Build audio capture and streaming for our voice features.
- Make the apps offline-first, with reliable sync when the network comes back.
- Design mobile UI that works for a busy doctor and for a first-time smartphone user.
- Own Play Store and App Store releases, crash monitoring and app performance.
- Build new mobile features on our roadmap, end to end.

You'll Fit If You

- Have 1–2 years of experience and at least one Flutter app live on the Play Store or App Store.
- Write solid Dart and use a state management approach well (Bloc, Riverpod or Provider).
- Work comfortably in Kotlin and understand Android internals.
- Are comfortable with REST APIs, WebSockets, local storage (SQLite, Hive or Drift) and Git.
- Care how an app feels in the hand, not just whether it compiles.
- Live in Indore or are open to relocating.

Good to have: Swift, real-time audio streaming, Android kiosk mode, apps with UI in Indian languages.

Hours and Hiring Process

Monday to Friday, 10 am to 7 pm, on-site at our Indore office. This is a priority hire, so we're moving fast and prefer immediate joiners.
