As part of our continued expansion and next phase of 3X growth, we are looking for talented Mechanical Design Engineers to join our engineering team.

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Design Engineers / Senior Mechanical Design Engineers with experience in the mechanical design and development of oil-filled power transformers.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of mechanical design principles, 3D modeling, engineering calculations, structural analysis, and transformer mechanical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for oil-filled power transformers.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, mechanical layouts, and design documentation.
- Apply mechanics, strength of materials, and thermal and vibration analysis to optimize transformer designs.
- Perform engineering calculations to ensure structural integrity, mechanical strength, and design efficiency.
- Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) for mechanical components and accessories.




- Review and validate mechanical designs against technical specifications and engineering standards.
- Optimize designs for weight, dimensions, manufacturability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with electrical, control, and other engineering teams to ensure design integration.
- Guide junior engineers and support continuous improvement in engineering practices.
- Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables while maintaining design accuracy and quality.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 4–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in power transformers.
- Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, strength of materials, and thermal and vibration analysis.
- Experience in 3D modeling, detailed engineering drawings, and BOM preparation.
- Knowledge of oil-filled transformer mechanical design and engineering documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical coordination skills.
