Role Description The Maintenance Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for ensuring reliable operation and high uptime of mechanical and electrical equipment used in air pollution control and biomass drying systems. Day-to-day activities include performing routine inspections, diagnosing faults, executing maintenance and repair work, and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns. The role involves coordinating with operations and project teams, maintaining detailed service records, and supporting installation, commissioning, and performance optimization of equipment at the facility and client sites as required.

Engineer will also support safety compliance, adhere to quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering, with hands-on experience in industrial machinery and process equipment.
- Candidates should possess practical abilities in Maintenance & Repair, including troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and corrective actions on mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Preventive Maintenance, including planning, scheduling, and executing routine checks to improve equipment life and reduce downtime.
- Candidates should possess competence in Electrical Maintenance, including basic electrical fault finding, panel checks, and safe handling of electrical systems associated with plant equipment.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline) from a recognized institution.
- Understanding of industrial safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and adherence to environmental and emission-related regulations.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals, use standard maintenance tools and instruments, and prepare clear maintenance reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.
