Job Role: Legal Associate (Family & Children Law Department)

Job Type: Full-time, office-based role (Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM)

Experience Level: 1-3 years in legal, paralegal, or family law-related roles

Salary Package: ₹3.5 LPA to ₹4.5 LPA, based on experience

Salary Progression: ₹5.25 LPA upon successful completion of probation; ₹6.5 LPA after 1 year of employment

About the Role:

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented legal professionals with a genuine interest in Family and Childcare Law. The successful candidate will support UK-based solicitors and legal teams in handling family law matters, including childcare cases, domestic abuse applications, private children law proceedings, and legal aid administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation and management of Domestic Abuse Applications, including gathering supporting evidence and drafting legal documentation.
- Support solicitors with Private Children Law Applications, including child arrangements, parental responsibility, and specific issue matters.
- Prepare, review, and administer Family and Children Applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal aid requirements.
- Draft correspondence, statements, application forms,



and other legal documents required in family law proceedings.
- Conduct legal research relevant to family and childcare matters.
- Maintain case files, records, and document management systems to a high standard.
- Liaise with UK-based legal teams to ensure effective case progression and service delivery.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Law degree (LL.B.) or equivalent legal qualification.
- 1-3 years of experience in legal, paralegal, litigation support, or family law-related work.
- Strong interest in Family and Childcare Law.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Desirable:

- Previous experience handling family law, childcare law, legal aid matters, or legal documentation.
- Understanding of UK Family Law procedures and Legal Aid processes.
- Experience working within Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) environments.
