About the Role:
IPE Global is seeking a senior Talent Acquisition leader to own and drive hiring as a core organisational capability, deeply embedded across programs, thematic areas, and leadership teams.
This is a hands-on, immersive role for someone who thrives at the intersection of execution and strategy — translating complex, program-driven talent needs into timely and high-quality hiring outcomes. The role requires strong discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to partner closely with senior stakeholders across geographies.
This is not a coordination-only role. The incumbent will be personally accountable for hiring outcomes and actively involved in delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Talent Acquisition-
- Lead and deliver end-to-end hiring across core, program, and project roles (India and international).
- Own role scoping, screening, assessments, interview coordination, offer management, and closure.
- Ensure speed, quality, and consistency across hiring cycles.
Deep Program & Thematic Engagement-
- Work closely with Program Leads, Thematic Heads, and Project Leads to understand evolving workforce needs.
- Participate in regular reviews to anticipate hiring demand and plan proactively.
- Act as a trusted advisor on workforce structuring and sequencing of hires.
Stakeholder Management & Cadence-
- Establish and run regular Talent Acquisition check-ins with HR representatives and program teams.
- Serve as the central integrator across HR, Finance, Compliance, and program teams on hiring matters.
- Maintain clear communication, tracking, escalation, and closure discipline.
Systems & Process Strengthening-
- Lead TA systems and process initiatives, including ATS optimisation, hiring SOPs, and governance frameworks.
- Drive consistency, documentation, and process rigour across hiring.
Workforce Planning & Market Insight-
- Support leadership with workforce planning informed by program pipelines, budgets, and talent availability.
- Share insights on market trends, talent risks, and hiring bottlenecks.
Employer Branding & Talent Pipelines-
- Strengthen IPE's presence in the talent ecosystem through referrals, academic institutions, and targeted outreach.
- Build pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.
What We Are Looking For:
- 10–12+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Workforce Planning
- Experience in development sector, consulting, or program-driven organisations
- Strong execution discipline and comfort working hands-on
- Proven ability to work closely with senior leaders and complex stakeholders
- High attention to detail, follow-through, and ownership mindset
- Ability to operate effectively across ambiguity and competing priorities
Qualifications & Experience:
- Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Management, Social Sciences, or a related discipline
- 10–12+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition and workforce planning roles
- Demonstrated experience hiring across multiple role types — core, program, project, and leadership roles
- Prior exposure to development sector or project-driven environments is strongly preferred
- Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional, multi-geography teams
- Hands-on experience with ATS platforms, hiring workflows, and recruitment governance frameworks
- Experience supporting international or cross-border hiring will be an advantage
Skills & Competencies:
Core Competencies-
- Strong end-to-end recruitment execution with clear ownership
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication
- High attention to detail and strong closure discipline
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments
Strategic & Analytical Skills-
- Ability to translate program needs into practical workforce plans
- Robust analytical ability to track hiring metrics, identify risks, and recommend course correction
- Comfort balancing immediate hiring needs with longer-term capability building
Systems & Process Orientation-
- Proficiency in working with ATS tools and recruitment dashboards
- Strong documentation skills — SOPs, trackers, hiring notes, and approvals
- Ability to design and improve recruitment processes for consistency and scale
Behavioural Attributes-
- Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable getting into the details rather than operating at arm’s length
- Resilient, dependable, and accountable in delivery
- Strong ethical orientation and respect for organisational values and protocols
What We Offer-
- Opportunity to shape Talent Acquisition as a strategic organizational capability
- Exposure to diverse programs, thematic areas, and geographies
- High ownership, leadership visibility, and growth potential
- A collaborative, mission-driven and values-led environment
