Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Tiruppur.

The Junior

Accountant will assist with daily bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The role involves supporting preparation of financial statements, monitoring receipts and payments related to finance and chit fund operations, and ensuring accurate documentation and filing of records. The person in this role will help with basic tax and compliance tasks, respond to internal and customer queries related to accounts,



and coordinate with senior accounting staff to support audits and periodic financial reviews.

Qualifications

- Foundational accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Basic financial analysis and reporting capabilities, with the ability to work with spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills for handling multiple financial records.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
- Ability to follow established processes, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical standards in financial work.
- Preferred: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Preferred: Prior internship or entry-level experience in financial services, banking, or chit fund operations.
- Comfort working on-site in Tiruppur and collaborating with a small, closely knit team.
