Role Description This full time on-site Junior Research Fellow (JRF) role is based at National Institute of Technology Warangal, Warangal, India; Duration: 18 Months. The JRF will contribute to a sponsored research project under the guidance of a faculty supervisor, performing literature reviews, experimental, data collection, and data analysis in the relevant discipline. Daily responsibilities typically include designing and conducting experiments or simulations, maintaining accurate records of research activities, preparing reports, and assisting in drafting research papers and presentations.

The JRF will participate in regular project meetings, collaborate with other researchers or laboratory staff, and support the upkeep of project-related equipment and resources.



Additional duties may involve assisting in related academic activities, such as seminars, documentation for funding agencies, and dissemination of research findings.

Qualifications

- B.Tech/M.Tech/MSc with GATE/NEET desirable; Opportunity for registering the full time Ph.D.
- Strong research aptitude, including the ability to conduct literature surveys, design methodologies, and analyze qualitative or quantitative data.
- Solid academic background in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Sciences, or allied fields), typically with a completed postgraduate degree as per funding agency norms.
- Proficiency in technical writing for reports, research papers, and documentation, with attention to clarity, structure, and academic integrity.
- Competence in using relevant laboratory tools, software, or computational platforms (such as statistical tools, programming languages, or domain-specific applications).
- Effective communication skills for interaction with faculty, peers, and project stakeholders, and for presenting research outcomes in meetings or seminars.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and to manage time, tasks, and deadlines independently.
- Familiarity with ethical research practices, data management, and compliance with institutional and funding agency guidelines.
- Prior research experience, publications, or project work in related areas will be considered an added advantage.
