Touchstone Educationals LLP, one of India’s leading education and training organizations with over 26 years of experience, is looking for a skilled and proactive IT – Hardware & Networking Engineer to join our team in Chandigarh.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of computer hardware, networking, troubleshooting, IT infrastructure, and technical support. The role will also involve frequent travel to our centres across the region for installation, maintenance, and on-site IT support.

Key Responsibilities• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, access points, and related networking equipment
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain N-Computing systems
- Manage and monitor servers, user accounts, access permissions, and CCTV systems
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, network, and connectivity issues
- Perform routine data backups, system updates, antivirus checks, and IT security maintenance
- Maintain computer labs, including hardware/software upkeep, system readiness, and proper equipment arrangement
- Provide timely on-site technical support to staff and users across different centres
- Manage the organization’s domain and email services through cPanel
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs, replacements, connectivity, and other technical requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, incidents, repairs, and network infrastructure
- Support implementation of IT best practices, data protection, and user access controls
Qualifications & Requirements• Diploma in Hardware & Networking / Information Technology / Electronics, OR ITI in COPA / Electronics / IT-related trades
- Strong practical knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, OS installation, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on understanding of network administration, routers, switches, LAN/WAN, and wireless networks
- Basic understanding of servers, firewalls, antivirus, backups, network security, and access controls
- Good troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and internal customer-support skills
- Ability to manage multiple technical issues and maintain proper documentation
- Willingness to travel frequently to Touchstone centres across the region
- Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ will be an added advantage
- Previous experience in an educational institution or multi-location environment will be preferred
