Responsibilities

- Lead the Techno-Commercial function for fuel sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management.
- Develop and implement fuel procurement strategies to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Drive commercial negotiations with suppliers, transporters, and service providers.
- Monitor coal quality, quantity, logistics, and inventory management.
- Manage long-term and short-term fuel contracts, tenders, and commercial agreements.
- Ensure optimization of fuel costs while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, pricing mechanisms, and fuel availability to support business decisions.
- Lead budgeting, cost control, MIS reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with company policies,



contractual obligations, and statutory requirements.
- Mentor and develop techno-commercial teams across locations.

Qualifications

Education

- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Mining) preferred.
- MBA (Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or Marketing) will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 15–20+ years of experience in Techno-Commercial, Fuel Procurement, Coal Management, Purchase, or Supply Chain functions.
- Significant experience in Thermal Power Plants, Mining, Energy, or Infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record of handling coal procurement, fuel logistics, and commercial negotiations.
