Role Description The Government Sales Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The intern will support the sales team in identifying and engaging government departments and agencies, assisting with lead generation, prospect qualification, and follow-up activities. Daily responsibilities include preparing and updating sales proposals, maintaining sales records and CRM entries, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely responses to government inquiries and tenders.

The role also involves participating in client meetings, supporting product demonstrations, gathering customer requirements, and helping resolve basic service and support issues under guidance.



The intern will learn and apply government procurement processes, contribute to market research on public sector opportunities, and assist in building strong, long-term relationships with government customers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills and the ability to present information clearly to government stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess foundational Sales skills, including lead generation, prospecting, and basic understanding of sales cycles.
- Candidates should possess a focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with an interest in building trust-based relationships.
- Candidates should possess Negotiation and interpersonal skills to support discussions on pricing, terms, and contract conditions.
- Relevant skills such as attention to detail, basic knowledge of IT hardware solutions, and comfort working with Excel and CRM tools are beneficial.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in office in Jaipur, collaborate within a team, and follow ethical and compliance standards in government sales.
